johana resendiz_period 4
The American dream is thought of as the "stop" to all problems, hope, and a chance to a better living.Reality is that its not very promising to every immigrant coming from all over the world. Some do succeed while others do not.The ones that fail are seen as if they didn't put enough effort, but everyone starts off at different starting points. Some have it more difficult leaving their families, everything behind, and coming to the U.S with money that will only get them by for a day. Being born in america gives you better opportunities that others don't get unfortunately.America is full of great possibilities if one is grateful and takes every opportunity that is given.

act 3 scene 2
"they that have done this deeed are honorable. what private griefs they have alas, i know not, that made them do it. they are wise and honorable, and will no doubt with reasons answer you i come not, friends, to steal away your hearts, i am no orator, as brutus is."
this is important because i think iot shows how antony himself still dosen't know why the conspirators did what they did and why. i believe antony thinks that they were not dum so thay must have aghreat reason for killing caeser. antony also says that he isn't an orator as brutus which i believe he means it more like he isn't a person who fills your mind up with stuff.

act 3 scene 3
"thats as much as to say, they are fools that marry; you'll bear me a bang for that, i fear."
this quote is important because it shows how confused the people of rome really are. they really still dont have anything figured out yet but they still want to take an act in the situation and for that they kill the wrong guy.

act 3 scene 1
"grant that, and then death a benefit. so are we caesers friends that have abridged his time of fearing death. stoop, romans, stoop, and let us bathe our hands in caeser's blood up to the elbows, and besmear our swords." 71
This passage is important because this shows that brutus really thinks that killing caeser was the right thing to do for rome. It shows this because he claims that they are friends of caeser by shortening caeser's time of fearing death. also he says to "let us bathe our hands in caeser blood" which to me means that he really believed that they did the right thing so they shouldn't deny killing caeser but be proud of it and tell everyone it was them.
